I am so excited to be able to write a whole paragraph about my family in Spanish!!
Thanks to a wonderful grant given to Latinas Unidas, and the Spanish Chat Company, I'm able to participate in a 6-week conversational Spanish class from my home via the web! I decided it's important for me to be able to learn some Spanish in order to be able to truly communicate and connect with the people I will be serving! My friend, Cindy, who's joining me on the trip is also participating. And so we'll be able to "practice" between now and June!
June will be here before we know it, so I'm glad we've been able to start the classes now! Thanks for the support and encouragement from everyone!
